Symphony of Yellows and Blues

Several years ago, I created a necklace highlighting shades of aqua and cream. Having recently found an antique stylized image of a European fish, I instantly thought of the necklace and was inspired to create a framed sculpture to combine the two along with a range of yellows and blues including gold and light aqua.
I love the combination of yellow and blue and especially the contrast between ocher and teal. While many of my works have an underlying theme, this one was created for the pure joy of seeing the color combinations. Inspired by Necklace MU 117, created using freshwater pearls, citrine and Murano glass bead.
Custom framed with museum glass in a sophisticated deep wooden frame in collaboration with Chevy Chase Art Gallery, Washington, DC.
